This is a shot of a set of steps that lead from a small town VFW down to a defunct boat dock. I believe they were built as a memorial to WWI vets from the town. They are in disrepair and I never see anyone down there, but it is one of my favorite places. I feel a reverence when I’m there, and a true connection to the past and the sacrifice of many.
